Hanson Instruments appointed as the only authorized distributor to the UK Optometry sector of a major Italian manufacturer’s complete line of screening and treatment products for Dry-Eye & Meibomian Gland Dysfunction.Midlands based manufacturer and supplier Hanson Instruments is excited to announce its appointment as the only authorized distributor to the UK Optometry sector of Espansione Group’s complete line of screening and treatment products for Dry-Eye & MGD, effective from the 2nd April 2019.

Espansione Group’s system is the most complete package on the market, able to screen, grade and treat MGD in both the upper and lower eyelids. The system comprises ME-CHECK, an HD diagnostic screener, that provides the Optometrist with meibography and dry-eye symptomatology for both eyes within 3 minutes. Next the EYE-LIGHT, a world-first treatment instrument, integrates two patented medical technologies, IPL and LLLT (Low Level Light Therapy) to efficiently treat the upper and lower eyelids without the use of gels. The EYE-LIGHT additionally offers pathology treatments related to chalazion, blepharitis and demodex. MY-MASK, the third instrument in the range is used to treat MGD with LLLT. Both the ME-CHECK and MY-MASK can be used in portable form and are excellent solutions for domicillary visits by an Optometrist.
