After a fantastic 2011 show, Optrafair has announced that it will opening it's doors once again by confirming the dates for 2013. The optical exhibition will be held at Birmingham's NEC for companies of all shapes and sizes in the eye care world from the 13-15 April 2013. The popular event will again span over 3 days.
Due to the size of the show and planning required to set up ready for the exhibition, the organisers have given a fairly sizable gap between now and the event so that companies and manufacturers can prepare properly. This is of particular importance given the fact that the optical show caters for large manufacturers as well as smaller businesses in the industry who might require a longer lead in time to plan in order to maximise their presence at the event.
2011's show was seen as an overwhelming success with visitor numbers across the three day period totaling a whopping 6647 unique individuals arrving, a 2% increase on the previous year. High demand for the well respected eye care show also saw an increase of 8% purchased floor space by optical professionals. Along with numerous mini events within the show such as the OptraAward winners display, CET programme and Royal College of Art eyewear the show was a major draw to most in the optical industry.
