As good as new!

Hanson Instruments | As good as new!

Running your practice is challenging enough without adding in a headache over how to afford expensive new medical equipment. Hanson Instruments understand these pressures on business cashflow and that’s why they offer an alternative to used or pre-owned equipment that ticks all the great value for money boxes – reconditioned equipment.

Lisa Evans, Director at Hanson Instruments, uses her background in banking when offering commercial advice, and believes more optometrists should consider reconditioned equipment. “Many practices will look to buy used equipment to save money, but this can be a false economy because there are many products available without warranties or items that are no longer supported by the manufacturer.  If the equipment fails, the practice will end up spending more money to have the item repaired or replaced.  Here at Hanson Instruments all reconditioned equipment comes with a 12-month no quibble, parts and service warranty, which gives optometry practices real peace of mind about any equipment purchases. In practice, many customers buy a mix of new and reconditioned instruments, which gives them maximum flexibility and great value for money”.

Experienced Hanson Instruments engineers work hard to make reconditioned equipment look and feel as good as new – so good, in fact, that we know your patients will not be able to spot the difference between these and a brand-new instrument! Before a reconditioned instrument is delivered it will be given a full check-up, both inside and out, in our dedicated factory in Redditch, Worcestershire. The internal reconditioning processes vary for each piece of equipment but the exterior will be repainted or have external coverings replaced where necessary to ensure that the finished item looks as close to a brand-new piece as possible. These thorough checks mean we can back our reconditioned units will our full warranty.

When you talk to the team at Hanson, we’ll draw on our extensive experience working with hundreds of optometry practices, to offer practical solutions for your growing practice.
