Specsavers have repeated a regional campaign in the United Kingdom to offer Hackney Cab plus licensed private hire drivers free eye examinations.
Its optician stores in the Greater London and Surrey districts will support the scheme until the end of the year ( December 31). Raj Kukadia, Specsavers a North London spokesperson, has said: 'Given the clear link between eye health and road safety awareness, we are delighted to pledge our support to help keep the roads safer over the Christmas period.'
This goes for everybody of course. Road safety awareness week is still ongoing.
