As part of a new venture by Lloyds Pharmacy to broaden the services that their stores can offer, it has been announced that new 'Health Villages' will also include opticians and a host of other services such as skin care clinics and physios.
In making this move to offer a much broader service than simply just dispensing medicines, the pharmacy giant is looking to become an all round healthcare provider while giving a much needed boost to local communities, lightening the load on medical practices and the like, offering a convenient option for consumers to simply drop in to the 'village' of services.
The opticians will offer a range of standard optical services, allowing visitors to receive eye examinations and tests.
