Space Ship Sight Saver

Would you recognize the symptoms of sight loss? What are the expectations for a person with full and clear sight thinking about a gradual sight loss or symptoms of an eye disease. Would you be able to pinpoint the time it was necessary to visit your optician for testing and diagnosis?
Well a sight pod arranged by the Royal National Institute for the Blind is visiting areas of Liverpool next week kicking off a UK tour to simulate these exact conditions. The scheme is designed to educate and raise awareness of eye health priority as part of the RNIB's Save our Sight program.

The van looks akin to a space ship with huge eyes on its roof which are fixed with cameras inside. As well as educating the public who will be affected it is also a measure for health professionals to experience what some of their patients will be seeking assistance for.
