The 36th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) will take place between the 22-26 September 2018 in the Reed Messe Exhibition and Congress Centre, Vienna, Austria. Pete Downing of Hanson Instruments will be present on the CSO stand and together they’ll be presenting the advanced capabilities of the MS 39 Anterior Segment OCT device by CSO.

The CSO programme of demonstrations runs on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September and there will be opportunities to ask questions of Peter or the CSO team on any day of the event.

More about the MS-39 AS-OCT
MS-39 combines Placido disk corneal topography, with high resolution OCT-based anterior segment tomography. The clarity of the cross-sectional images, with a 16 mm diameter, along with the many details of the cornea structure and layers revealed by the MS-39, will be appreciated by anterior segment specialists. MS-39 provides information on pachymetry, elevation, curvature and dioptric power of both corneal surfaces. In addition to anterior segment clinical diagnostics, MS-39 can be used in corneal surgery for refractive surgery planning. An IOL calculation module is also available, based on Ray-Tracing techniques. Additional tools allow MS-39 to perform accurate pupil diameter measurements and the advanced analysis of tear film.
