Following on from the great success that was NOC 2011, the National Optometric Conference will again be opening its doors to the optical market in October 2012. The highly popular event which was last year held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth will again be Midlands based, at the prestigious Hilton Meltropole Hotel, at the NEC Birmingham.
With details surrounding the event still a little light on the ground, all companies and specialists in the optical sector are being advised that a full programme for the show will be released in the near future, with details on speakers and activities to follow. As per 2011, the conference will showcase the AOP Awards dinner which covers a wide range of group and individual achievements including Dispensing Optician of the Year and Student of the Year amongst many others. Further details regarding voting and categories for the eye specialist awards will again be released soon.
