NBCS New Support Service

The National Blind Children's Society is providing a new education advice and support service for families of children with visual difficulties.
The service will help, advise and support parents and carers of children and young people with a visual difficulty, in ensuring that their special educational needs are correctly met.
Support and advice is available from pre-school through to post 16 further and higher education.
After an initial telephone call or email the service manager will contact the family to establish exactly what support and advice is needed.
You may be put in touch with other staff who can help and with other agencies which can provide support and advice. The service manager will contact other professionals and your local authority if necessary.

If families don't know what to do, where to go, or who to turn to for help advice and support contact the NBCS.
